About Us
Our Story
Windland RV is owned and operated by the Bussie family. We have been camping, hiking, RVing and boating for over 40 years. We moved to Elizabeth CO in 1985 and have really taken advantage of all that outdoor Colorado has to offer. We have many excellent lakes and camping areas that we enjoy. Waterskiing, wake boarding and now surfing are some of our favorite activities. We are always happy to exchange new camping, boating and RVing destinations.
When you stop in to see us you will be greeted by our sons Silver Lab, Liberty. She will make you feel right at home. Liberty has a lot of energy and is always up for a game fetch. She may jump on you to say "Hi", but if you tell her lay down she will show you her belly and assume a good rubbing is on the way.
In the summer, Peg has an awesome garden. Actually three of them and a greenhouse. There are always fresh veggies and cut flowers given away when in season.
After many years of operating out of our shop at our ranch, we just completed a new state of the art facility. It is 27,000 square feet. It has 34 inside storage spaces and a new inside heated shop. We also have 11 outside repair spaces in front of the shop. The entire area around the facility is recycled asphalt. The area around the building is HUGE! It is wide open and easy to maneuver. We think you’ll love it. I’m looking forward to operating out of the new building. After all those years working outside year round it will be nice to have the option to work indoors.
The new building is still located on our property. You can’t miss it as you come down the lane. It’s just a few hundred feet west of our old shop.
